I thought this article was an interesting read, especially with the release of House of Cards season 3 this past weekend.
It provided an interesting look at the show (which, for anyone who doesn't know, depicts a U.S. Senator pushing his way to the top) in relation to actual American politics, as well as a look at the "social media presidency" (i.e., Obama using a selfie stick, using memes in major speeches - State of the Union and Correspondents' Dinner - and sitting down for an interview with popular website, Buzzfeed) discussed in most of this week's readings.
